STATEMENT IN THE HOUSE OF COMMONS. London, May 5. In the House of Commons, Mr. Lewis Hareourt (Secretary of State for the Colonies), in reply to Mr. M'Neill (Nationalist), said that he had personally sent congratulatory telegrams to Australia and New Zealand.
