VERDICT. FOR PLAINTIFF. : (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Chrlstchurch, May 6. In Court to-da.v, John Ecroyd claimed from J. H. Fabling, metaphysician, £9 75., amount paid to defendant for mental treatment for epilepsy, and no oure effected. Plaintiff alleged that defendant fraudulently represented that ■the treatment was beneficial for the complaint, but knew that it was valueless, and therefore of no benefit The Magistrate (Mr. Bishop) said he did not understand metaphysics, . but there might be something in it. No man who was sane could think he was able to cure epilepsy by mental suggestion. Judgment was given for plaintiff.
