(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Hamner Springs, May 5.' The Hon. R. Heatoa Rhodes, Post-ma6ter-Genoral, informed a . Press representative to-night that the officers of the Post and Telegraph Department have not only contributed £251)8 to the Patriotic Fund, lint, they have also recently made a collection 011 behalf of the Belgian Belief Fund; the snm | raised in the Departmental fund on this account has amounted to £393 3s. L'd., and in addition to this various contributions have been mndo direct to local fluids raised for the same object, among which may bo mentioned the sum of £269 13s. 2d. for the relief of post- and telegraph offers in Belgium, also an ninonnt of Bs. fid. contributed bv the officers of the Accountants' Branch of the 0.r.0. direct to the fund, the office having guaranteed to raise i'lo a month long as nccessary.
