CAMP ENTERTAINMENTS
SALVATION ARMY'S WORK. Last week the Salvation Army were very generous with, their catering for the amusement of the men gathered at Trentham Camp. Three entertainments were given. The first was given by a, party of;ladies and gentlemen under the leadership of Miss Webb. This lady is always a welcome visitor, to the camp, consequently the party were accorded a most enthusiastic reception. The'next was a party of : forty belonging to the Wellington Harmonic Society, under tie leadership of Mr. Temple-White. A' programme of music was rendered. The third party consisted of a detachment of the Wellington Salvation Army 'Silver Band, and once again the large building was packed by a crowd of men, who eagerly followed each item with loud applause. Bandmaster Goffin is in charge of this talented band. The soldiers appreciate, the Salvation Army's efforts to entertain to 'such an extent that they crowd the institute nightly, and Captain Garner, the chaplain, is now trying to have erected a building almost twice the size of the present one;
