Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd.. Palmerston North, report having a fair yarding of stock at their Fcilding sale on Friday, which sold as below:—Small lambs, ss. 6d., 6s. 7d.. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Masterton, report :—We held our usual weekly sale at Sohray on Wednesday last. We had a small ontry of sheep and a. large yarding of cattle, tho bulk of which were good quality bullocks. The demand for all classes of stock was restrioted, as tho continued dry weather has not improved tho growth of feed for the winter. There was a largo attendance of buyers from the Lower Wairarapa and the surrounding districts. 'On account of Mr. 0. A. Bunny, Waipipi, we offered a tip-top lino of 3',! 45-year - Shorthorn bullocks, tho bulk of which were beef, but these failed to reach the owners' reserves. We, however, disposed of them privately later in the day. We offered, also on account of Mr. Bunny, a well-bred line of 100 threes and four-year Shorthorn-Hereford bullocks, which were, howover, passed in. In conjunction with Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., we ' sold on account of Messrs. Pain and Sutherland, Te Psrae. a line of 105 threeyear bullocks at £7 10s., and 39 two and three-year steers at £5 10s. On account of 'Messrs. Caselberg Bros, and Lang we sold ft splendidly-bred line of 154 mixed-sex ,'Hereford-Shorthorn-crosa weaners at' 325. 6d. Tho purchasers were. Messrs. Barton •Bros., Mataikona. Also, on account of the'same vendors, a line of 39 station cows,, .in low condition,- at £2 6s. We offered a. ifew lines of sheep; which met with a dragging sale. Messrs. Ltd.. report on their Fcilding talc- held'on Friday:—At Fcilding on Friday we hod a small entry of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle to offer to a moderate attendance of buyers.
