RECAPTURED BY A CRUISER " London, April 30! Official: A British cruiser recaptured the German liner Macedonia. [Reports from Las Palmas (Canary Islands) received in London on March 17 stated that the interned HamburgAmerika liner Macedonia slipped out from the' inner harbour during the temporary absence of the guardship, and despite the removal of parts of her machinery. It was believed that she was using her wireless to attract the German commerce destroyers, in order to deliver the war-stores which were on board the Macedonia."]
