BILLIARDS

The Alcock Billiard Diner Handicap Tournament, which is an annual event and confined strictly to the owners and their families of undersized billiard tables, will commence at an early date. This year Messrs. Alcock and Co., Ltd., are providing the whole of the prizes, conditionally upon the entry fees being donated to the Belgian /Relief Fund. Last year the entries totalled over 40, and with the greater number of tables now in use it is anticipated that this number will be largely exceeded. At tliis tournament tho Alcock Challenge Cnp will be again competed for, and it has been decided that tlie winner of this will receive a handsome miniature .replica as a permanent memento.
