WOUNDED SOLDIERS' FUND
Given fine weather there is little doubt of the success of fclio efforts of I those responsible for to-morrow's Rugby Carnival and Monday night's boxing tournament. For the big matoh to-mor-row afternoon at the Athletic Park the Trentham team remains as published.. The Wellington team has been altered somewhat. Prendeville (who will bo remembered as a prominent member of the Poneke Club some seasons ago, since which he has shown excellent form in Sydney) will play full-back. MacEwan, of Petone, replaces Holey, wing-three-quarter, who is suiforuig from an attack of pleurisy, while Morris goes from half to three-quarter in E. Ryan's place, C. Pile, late of Dunedin Pirates, and now of Oriental, taking Morris's place at half. It appears likely that the Trentham team will have the support of the whole camp, it , being rumoured that the Camp Commandant has granted leave to tlie men. The presence of such a largo number of soldiers should add considerably to the interest in the match and incidentally tend to swell the amount available for the fund.
