April 28, 8.40 p.m.) Sydney, .April 23, Speaking at a meeting of the Goldmining Company, the Chairman of Directors declared that if the '.Wages Board granted the miners, their demandfoT an increase in wages to 13s. 6d. per day the mines_ would have to close, and gold production would cease. -
