Present indications ore for strong westor'y wir'djs, changing to sbutherly northward of Cook Strait, and south-eagter-lies, changing to south-westerlies elsewhere. Expect cloudy • and unsettled conditions, with rain generally _ and snow on higher lovcls. Colder weather soon, barometric pressure increasing everywhere, but probably only. temporarily in the south. The path of the cyclonic disturbance which has dominated weather conditions m the north during the past three days is now centred about Cook Strait. High northerly winds have ruled in the north and south to eouth-casterlies have predominated elsewhere.
