PUBLIC WORKS TENDERS

The following tenders have been dealt with by the Public Works Department: —Additions to post office, Hamilton, that of Pattison' and Brooks, of Auckland, at £2768 was accepted. Other tenders were: Snell Bros., Hamilton, £3334; H. M. Hollow, Hamilton, £3400; W. A. Clarke, Auckland, £3497; C. W. Cooper, Hamilton, £3705; C. H. Frankham, Auckland, £3768; W. M. Hender6on, ■ Frankton,_ £4760. In the additions to the Government Printing Offices at Wellington, the tender of Sanders Bros., Wellington, . at £9997 was accepted. The other tenderers were: W. H. -Bennett, Wellington, £10,485; J. H. Meyer and Co., Wellington, £10,997 19s. 6d.; Trevor Bros., Ltd., Wellington, £11,059; Murdoch and Wallis, Wellington, £11,300; Howie and Matthews, _ Wellington, £11,598; J. and W. Jamieson, Cliristchurch, £16,274. ,
