She will continue her journey on to Rarotcnga, Papeete, nnd San Francisco at 5 p.m. to-morrow, being due at the last-mentioned port on May 19. The Mokoia, which arrived in port froni Sydney during the night, will berth at the Queens Wharf No. 1 north first tiling this morning. Departure will be taken for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and the Bluff this evening. The Moeraki, which has relieved the Mokoia in the intercolonial "crvice, vrill be dispatched from this port for Sydney and Hobart at 5 p.m. to-morrow. WAIWEEA LEAVES HOME. Word has been received in Wellington stating that the Union Company's Wai hora left Singapore on April 18, in continuation of hex journey from Calcutta to New Zealand ports. Auckland 'will be th« vessel's first, port of call in the Dominion It was stated yesterday that the New Zealand Shipping Company's R.M.S. Turakina would discharge London cargo at Wellington, and Lyttelton. In addition to the ports mentioned she. will land freight at Tin a-ru, Dunedin, and Nelson, and will load at Lyttelton, the Bluff, and Wellington. ' The German prise steamer Australia, 7435' tons grosß, built at Flensburg in 1912, has been jiurohased by tho British India Steam Navigation Company, Ltd., London. Some time to-day the Union .Company's big cargo carrier Waitemata is due at Auckland from San Francisco direct. The Wellington portion of tie vessel's cargo should arrive here about May 2. It was expected that the Union Company's Wairuna would arrive at San Francisco from Sydney about April 23. To-day will be the last occasion on which the Union steamer Mapourika will leave Wellington for New Plymouth and Westport. As the vessel will be iwi'thdrawn from the New Plymouth cargo service, it has been arranged that tho Corinna will take her place, leaving Wellington every Wednesday with New Plymouth cargo. From Russell the Government steamer Hinemoa proceeded on to Cape Maria Von Diemen light yesterday morning. Continuing her journey from Greymouth the Un:on steamer Arahura left Westport for Nelson, -Picton, and Wellington at noon yesterday. She should show up here at the usual time this evening. It las been decided that the coastal steamer Queen of the South will lay up at Wellington oin Friday next for her f.nnual overhaul. The Awahou will relieve the "Queen"'in the Welling ton-Foxton service. The Government training steamer Amokura will remain at Akaroa till the beginning of next week. She is due back at Wellington on May 6. The hoys will hold their annual sports ait Akaroa to-day. The C. and I), liner Muritai is due at Wellington from Wanganni on Sunday to complete loading for London. Departure will be taken far the Home port on Thursday, May 4. An expected arrival in port from I.yttelton to-day is the-Shaw-SaviH liner Pakeha. Homeward- loading will be completed here, and departure taken for London on Saturday. next. For the purpose of completing discharge of her London cargo, the C. said D. liner Star of Sootland is due in port Irom Napier to-day. She will commence loading here and will proceed on to the Bluff on Sunday next. With a load of sheep, the coastal steamer Wootton is due here from Pigeon Bay today. Nydia 'Bay will be visited this week,, where timber will be loaded for Wellington. Latest charters - include the' barqnentiiiß Senorita, 324 tons. She has been , fixed to take a load of coal from Newcastle to Auckland. The barque Manunui, 358 inns, will proceed from Newcastle to Auckland with ooel, thence to Sydney with timber. The German-Australian liner Ro--tock, which was detained at Archangel after the outbreak of war, has been transferred to the Russian flag and been renamed Souma. At latest she was trading between France and England. Messrs. Burns, Philp and 00., Ltd. (local agents for the Nippon Yusen Kaisha, Imperial Japan Mail) have received adviyes from Tokio that the steamer Totomi Maru (5300 tons cargo oapaoity) will sail for Sydney direot, where she is. due on May 20. ,The steamer is listed to sail again from' Sydney for Yokohama on Juno 7.
