STOLEN TREASURE

SEQUEL TO SENSATIONAL RAID. London, April 26. Moss, owner of the stolen/ treasure house in Chiswick, recently raided by the police, _has_ been sentenced to three, years' imprisonment. At -Khe beginning of last month thfi ' police raided an old manor-house at Chi6wick, and ' recovered stolen art treasures valued at £100,000. The seizure has been described as the most extensive in police annals. Sixteen rooms were found to be filled with a marvellous collection of rare gold, silver, and bronze ornaments, and beautiful china and pictures, the latter including Beveral by Reynolds. The arrest of three men for stealing plate at Kennington led to the discovery. The occupier of the house was engaged in the muffin business.
