WORKERS' EDUCATIONAL ASSOCIATION

A meeting of the Central Council of the Workers' Educational Association (Wellington) was held last eveninp:, Mr. A. H. Hindmarsh, M.P., presiding-

It was announced that the University Senate had decided to contribute £300 towards the work, of tho workers' tutorial classes in eacli of the four centres. As.it was .'estimated that £600 was necessary to establish the work of tutorial classes in each centre tho Council decided to combine with the other three centres in requesting the Government to make up the balance.

The first meeting of students will bi hold at the Trades Hall on. May 5, when Professor Hunter ivill organise the classes.
