Present indications are for unsettled and cloudy weather at times, with rain probable, especially in. tho northern and southernmost districts. Expect variable winds, strong northorlies in the northern districts, and westerlies in the south. Barometer unsteady, .with a falling tendency Jrt present, but probably rising after about 24 hours. High pressure has prevailed, but dinturbances are in ovidonce both to tli« northward and southward o! the Dominion Earn has been reported in Otago, but fatr to cloudy conditions have ruled generally. Moderate to strong northerly and westerly winds have predominated.
