NEW ZEALAND'S SfIARE.
The Defence Minister has received a communication from the Secretary of State for the Colonies releasing him from -his obligati6n to observe secrecy regarding the number of troops New Zealand has sent abroad' to fight, and the number now in training. He will make a statement on the subject at Dunedin in a day or two. In conversation with a Dominion reporter yesterday he stated that New Zealand had already dispatched 15,000 men, without taking into account either of the 1 two forces. sent to Samoa. Of course, the first expedition of 1400 men has now returned to New Zealand.
