Cape Town, April 26. General Smuts lias occupied Aus, and ,railway communication between Aus and Garub and Luderitz Bught has been restored, This is of immense importance to the southern Union forces, removing their food transport' difficulties.
The Germans. completely destroyed tho .line between Garub and'Aus,' and wrecked the bridges.
