AIR-ATTACKS IN SMYRNA
STRENGTH OF THE GARRISON,

Paris, April 24. French aviators dropped two bombs at Fort Kastro, Smyrna, killing and wounding Eevoral of the soldiers. They also bombarded the railway station and a German vessel which sank'.
Tho correspondent of the "Echoa da Paris" at Salonika states that Allied aeroplanes are frequently flying over Smyrna. The observers estimate that _ there aro 35,000 Turks there, half in the trenches, and half in the heights overlooking the town. Thirty heavy guns from Constantinople have been placed on the new front.
