.An. old and highly respected settler bf the. Masterton district, Mr.' John M'Kenzie, of Te Whiti. died on Friday night, at the. ags of 86. He camo to New Zettland in the ship Blenheim Castle in the year 1840, and resided in. the Te Whiti district for sixty years. His wife predeceased liini a fortnight ago.
