Miss Hannah Scott, sister of Lady Ellison Macartney, and of the late Captain Scott, has gone to Servia in charge of a bate! of nurses on Sir Thomas Linton's yachtj the Erin. 'A meeting of the Society for the Protection of Women and Children was hold on Friday afternoon, Lady Stout (president) presiding. There were also present Mesdames A. A. Corrigan, D. M'Laren, and G. Winder. _ A number of cases which had been investigated were reported upon, and others were being attended to.
