AMOKURA'S CRUISE
ROUND OF THE SOUTHERN' ■ ISLANDS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.! Dunedln, April 23. The New Zealand training ship Anwkiira arrived atPPortt t Chalmers this morning from her periodical cruise fo the Southern Islands. Captain Hooper reports that he found the depots intact and no sign of any castaways. The depots bad been visited by men from the steamer Grantala when in search of. the Commonwealth trawler Endeavour, which was lost on her way to tiie Macquarries. • At Campbell Islands ,the, residents were quite well. They complained of the lateness of the summer shearing, which was not completed when the Amokura left there last Friday. During the' cruise moderate weather was experienced.
