TRANSACTION IN NATIVE LAND In the Supreme Court yesterday Mr. Justice Chapman had beforo him an application under the Native Land Act, to have confirmed the transfer of part of Himitanni lb from Teatua Renata to E. Chapman, and part of Himitangi 4o from Toatua Renata to P. E. Baldwin.
I'lie matter was adjourned till certain additional facts are submitted for His Honour's information.
The Hon. H. D. Bell, K.C., appeared for Chapman and Baldwin; and Mr. C. I'. Skerrett, I£.C., and Mr. M. F. Luckie for the executors of the estate of James Barber, who oppose the confirmation of the transfers.
