OBSTRUCTING A STREAM
A CASE IN COURT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Timaru, April 22. Mr, Day, S.M., to-day gave his r&served judgment on an appeal by the occupier against an order by the Upper Orari River Board calling upon him to remove willows and other growths obstructing the free flow of the 6tream. The Magistrate ruled that the order was bad as it was in general terms calling upon the defendant to remove obstructions. His Worship held that the nature and location of the obstructions should havo been speciiied.
