DR. M'GAVIN TAKES' COMMAND. The 'medical staff of tlie stationary hospital to be established in the field wherever the New Zealand Expeditionary Force may be has been appointed.

The hospital will be under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel M'Gavin, F.R.C.S., of Wellington. The men of the other ranks for the hospital are all at Trentnam, and the general opinion of them is that a very good selection has been made.
