TOURNAMENT WINNERS.
The , season just concluded, has been & most successful and interesting one, (luring which some thirteen tournaments have been played, tho following boing' the result of the various finals: —Ladies' 'handicap singles—Miss Webb (2) defeated Miss' iioiit (30), 51 —49. Men's handicap singles—G. Clinkard (15) d&feated O'Hara Smith (7), 60—54. Handicap combineds—Miss Williams and Grant (owo 20) defeated Miss Plimmer and W. Irons. (2), 60—56. Men's Handicap singles (second event)— Grant (owo 12) defeated W. Irons (scr.), GO— 58. Ladies* handicap singles (second event) —Miss Plimmer (owo 5) defeated Miss Hoyes (4), 50—43. Men's liaudicap doubles—Messrs. Henley and Crombie (5) defeated Messrs W. Irons and Granhowe (15), 70—68. Ladies' handicap doubles—Misses Hayes and Rothschild (10) defeated Misses V. Altaian and Rigg (15), 60—54. Haudicap combineds (second event)— Miss Thompson and O'Hara Smith (8) defeated Miss Hoyes and N. Irons (12), 60—5 S. Tho men's ladder tournament was won by I l '. W. Cronibie, with 172 points. In the final of the ladies' championship Miss Travers meets Miss Williams, and in the final qf the men's championship singles Brown meets (irant.
During the season two Yankee combined tournaments wero played and won by Miss Williams and Chilman, and Miss Thompson and Leys. Several enjoyable progressive tournaments hava been played by the lady members with the other clubs.
