Mr. Benjainin G. H. Burn, who was a member of the old council, was the only candidate for the Mayoralty, and he is declared elected. His nominators were Messrs. W. J. Hildreth (the retiring Mayor) and C. Dasent. As there were no more than the required number of nominations for the seats on the council the ratepayers will not be required to record their votes. (Bj Telegraph.—Press Association.) Greymouth.-G. E. Perkins has been elected Mayor unopposed for the fourth term. Inglewood.—George Young, who has held the Mayoral seat for two' terms, has been re-elected without opposition. Seven- candidates have beon nominated for the six seats oil the council.
Oamaru. —Nineteen nominations have been received for councillorship and two for the Mayoralty. Both elections take place on Wednesday. Waipawa.—W. I. Limbrick was returned unopposed for the Mayoralty. Eketahuna. —F. C. Turner was reelected Mayor unopposed for a third tc-rm. There are seven nominations for six seats on the council.
Marton. —For the Mayoralty, R. E. Beckett and 11.I 1 . C. Wilson have been nominated. Nineteen have been nominated for six seats on the council, including all the retiring councillors and tho late Mayor. Carterton. —The Mayor (M. D. Hornsby) has been re-elected. The council will consist of J. Callister, W. Kisher, H. M. B. Trapp, H. Hughes, B. Roberts, 'E. M'Kenzie,. W. A. Kitchen, I<\ J. Lindop, Gordon Huglian. Nu election was necessary.
Eltha'm. —C. IT. Huckeridge (a councillor) and B. Dive, an ex-M.l'., are candidates for the Eltham Mayoralty. There are eleven candidates for nine seats oil the council. G. W. Taylor was returned unopposed to the Hospital Board.

Christchurch.—For tho Mayoralty the nominations are those of Henry Holland, Henry Soreiison, and Robert Spiers. A keen contest is promised.
Dunedin. —Mayoral nominations ore Councillors Mallow, Myers, and Clark. For St. Kilda Mr. Mfici'iirlaue was returned unopposed.
Masterton.' —Messrs. J. U. Coradino (retiring Mayor) and John Hunter have been nominated for the Mayoralty of Masterton. There are eleven candidates for the nine seats ou tho Borough Council. The new aspirants for civic honours are Messrs. A. Chapman, J. Kitchener, W. ICemp, \V. L. Falconer, and Pierce Cotter. Six of the retiring councillors are offering themselves for re-election. Messrs. E. G. Eton and J. C. Ewiugtoti have been elected unopposed as representatives of the Masterton Borough oil tile Wairarapa Hospital and Charitable Aid Board.
Gisborne.—Mr. W. G. Sherratt has been re-elected Mayor unopposed, and nine candidates havo been nominated for eight seats 011 the council.
Feilding.—Mr. A. M. Ongley has been re-elected Mayor unopposed. He has already served in office two years.
Invercargill.—For Invercargill City Mayoralty Messrs Duncan M'Farlane (sitting Mayor), A. B. Hoggitt, and E. B. M'Kay have been nominated, 'fbero aro twenty-one nominations for twelve councillors' seats.
St. Kilda.—'The retiring Mayor, Mr. M'Farlane, has been ckctcd unopposed as Mayor of St. Kilda. For tho ten seats on the council there are eighteen candidates.
Mornington.—Councillors Harraway and Sincock have been nominated for the Mayoralty.
Port Chalmers.—T. Scollay, the retiring Mayor, and AV. B. Morgan have been nominated for the Mayoralty.
Greon Island.—J. Gediies and J. Lindsay have been nominated.
