THE ENEMY IN THE PERSIAN GULF
TURKS WELL TRAINED
London, April 20. Speaking in the House of Lords, the Marquis of Crewe (Secretary of State for India) said that the enemy in the Persian Gulf were well trained, and their trenches worn invisible at a distance of forty yards. The enemy's casualties on April 14 totalled 2500.
