SUMMARY AND FORECAST
Present indications are for ramble grinds, strong easterly predominating shortly in the northernmopt districts, and westerlies changing to northerlie-a elsewhere. Expect cold, and changeable weather, dull and miflty at times generally, with rain in the northern and southerunioFt districts and scattered showers elsewhere. Conditions are somewhat threatening in the northern district's, and a storm iH at present raging southward of the Dominion. The barometer is unsteady, with e falling tendency in tko north. The barometer ha* risen in the south, end moderate to strong westerly and southerly winds have predominated. Kain fell last night in various part* of the country, and the weather hai* been generally changeable, sqUiTlty in the night, but conditions moderated to-day. D. C. 15ATI'S.
