The results of the speoial slaughter masses for the carcase competitions at the Smithfield Fat Stock Show in Lonaon in December furnish some interesting figures. The Longwool wether lambs, all but' one being Cheviots, ranged from 571b. to 801b. dressed, and from 1021b. to 1411b. live weight; and 2-tootli wethers of the same breed went from 651b. to 9.11b. dressed, and from 1121b. to 1521b. live weight. The short-woolled lambs, all but one being Sulfolks, showed heavier weights, ranging from 691b. to 931b. dressed, and 1211b. to 1591b. aMve. A 961b. Southdown lnmb dressed solb.
