Id., 165., to 17s. 6d.; forward 2-tool.h wethere, 195.,10 d. to'2ls. 4d. Cattle.—W«uier6 (culls), lis.; weaners (small), 19d. to 225.; medium weaners, 2Ss. to 315.; store cows, £2 125.; forward cowe, £4 ss. to £5 55.; fat cows, £6 17. ,6d. to £7; yearlinn steers, £3; 2j-ycar steers, £6 1-3. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Masterton, report having held their usual fortnightly eale at Greytown on Thursday last, when, there wag a good attendance and a large entry of sheep, which,met with keen competition, and a total clearance was inado at tho following prices:—Two, 4, and 6-tooth ewes, R.W. Leicester rams, 225. 9d.; m.s. shorn w.f. lambs, lis. 6d. to 12s. 6d.; b.f. woolly lambs, 7s. 6d., 95., to 12s. 4d.; cull ewes, 75.; m.s. weaners, 216.
Mc-srs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Masterton, report having held their usual weekly pale at Taratahi on Monday, when there was a good attendance and a large entry of stock, for which there was good competition, and. practically a total clearance was made at the following prices:—Two and 4tooth wethers, 18a. 6d.; forward condition m.s. 2-tooths, 165.; w.f. woolly lambs, 135.; b.f. woolly lambs, 10s. 9d., 12s. lid., to 135.; b.f. forward shorn lambs, 12s. Bd.; empty eweG,' 10s. to 135.; cull ewes, 75.; spring heifers, £4 10s., £4 13e., to £6 125.; weatier eteers, 175., 20<3., to 315,; weaner heifers, to ?le.; store , cows, £2 2s. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Ma-sterton, report having held their usual weekly sale at Eketahuna on Friday last. There was the usual attendance and a good yarding 1 of etock, for which there» was fair competition. A good clearance was made at the following prices:—B.B. Romney ewes, 2-tooth to 4-year, 245. 6d. to 265. 6d.; fat and forward ewes, 15s. 9d.; m.s., w.f. lambs, 10s. Id., 12s. lid., to 13s. 3d.; cull lambs, ss.
