PROTECTION ASSOCIATION FORMED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Auokland, April 20. The committee set up by the public meeting held last week to protest against the treatment importers ivero receiving from the shipping companies, and to devise measures to improve the relations between the importers and tho companies, decidcd to-day to recommend the formation of an association to be called the Auckland Importers' Association, and drafted series of rules for tho proposed association.
