MYSTERIOUS ROBBERY
£550 STOLEN . SYDNEY POLICE BAFFLED (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) Sydney, April 20. There has heen a repetition of the mysterious robbery of a year ago, bags containing notes, gold, and silver, of the value of £550, being removed from the tramway depot strongroom. The police arc unable to solve the mystery. [In July last a bag containing £550 in cash and unnegotiable drafts and money-orders, disappeared from the safe of the Genera] Post Office at Melbourne, ■ The bag had been securely locked and placed in the strongroom on a Monday evening, and the next morning was missing. The safe was uninjured, which led to the belief that it had been, opened with keys.] . ..
