London, March 4. Dr. Evans, of Hunterville, who arrived by the Rotorua, has joined the staff of the Charing Cross Hospital. Mrs. K. M'Adam, of Oamaru, has gone with her daughters to live at Elm Grove, Castle Hill, Maidenhead.* Mr. John P. Routledge, of Wellington, late Staff-Sergeant Major of the New Zealand Defence Forces, is at present in London.

Mr. A. Duff us Lubecki, formerly of Dunedin and Auckland, who has been sponding'the past two years .in England, is returning to Auckland on Saturday by the Maloja. '_ The High Commissioner received a deputation of the frozen meat agents in London on Monday to discuss matters relating to lie taking oyer by the Imperial Government of the meat supplies of New.Zealand. ■ Mr. M'Leay, formerly of the Government steamer Tutanekai, came as far as Alexandria with • the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, and then to London to report at the headquarters of the Legion of Frontiersmen, of which he is a membe(\ He leaves shortly with a battalion of Frontiersmen for special service in East Africa.
