SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications fire for changeable, squally, and colder weather, with heavy showers in. most parts. Expect strong westerly winds, changing to south-west* eriies. The barometer ia unsteady, but is due to riee everywhere in about 24 hours. An intense storm centred, eouthward of the Dominion has dominated conditions, and gloomy weather has been experienced generally, with rain in many parts of the South, island.
