lhe Wellington Harriers held 1 their run from Russell's Tea Booms, Karori, on Saturday, ivhon a fair muster turned out, for what proved to be an enjoyable run. The pack, under the control of Deputy Captain J. Peart, started off down Creswiclc Road. then made straight for Wilton's Bush, then towards Wadcstowii, and back round the road towards Creswick. Some <f the novices shaped very well during tlte run. A handicap run-in, was held over the last 200 yards, and resulted in a win for L. Eowntree. 1; J. D. Bennett, 2; J Peart, 3. Next Saturday's run will bo held from Miramar tram terminus.

Tho Olympic Club held an cnjoyablo run from Lyall Bay on Saturday afternoon. _ The trail led along the beach to the hills overlooking Seatoun, then across the golf links to Miramar, via the gasometer and sandhills, to the beach. A handicap run-in of about. 440 yards resulted in a win for J. Wilson, with A. M'Oauley second, and L. Brown a close third.

On Saturday the Brooklyn Harriers held their run from the clubroom, Wakefield Street. Despite the absence of a number of members in camp, and despite the counter attractions of the afternoon, there was an attendance of 14, including several promising young novices. Tie pack was under F. Harleii, club captain, whilst J. Douglas and D. Eobertson acted as pacemakers. Paper was dispensed with, and the pack ran via Clyde Quay and Eoseneath to Mount Victoria. The ridge was followed as far as Constable Street, where a turn was made down to Kilbirnie beach. The Queen's Drive was then followed as far as the Patent Slip, where the hills were agiin ascended. The pack then ran via the hills, Eoseneath and Hay Street, to Oriental Bay. The pace was fast throughout, and gave a good idea of the novices' abilities. A run-in over the last 300 yards was won by J. Molloy, a promising new man; A. Oliver was second, and J. Douglas and E. Ford deadheat, third. The club will hold a dance in the clubroom nest Thursday, and will run from Lyall Bay next Saturday.
