"BABES IN THE WOOD."
"The Babes in the Wood" is to be produced at the Grand Opera House tomorrow for seven nights. Tho performance is in two acts and twelve scenes, arid is said to rank high in the pantomimic productions of, modern times, and is claimed to be a presentation that brings credit to the George Willoughby management and a full appreciation to patrons. There are the specially imported novelties; there are the patriotic demonstrations which stir to enthusiasm; there is. a spectacular march of a bevy of khaki-clad "Amazons" in a presentation of "It's a Long Way to Tipperarv." Daisy Jerome heads the lengthy cast as principal girl Maid Marian, and she is supported by such artists as Miss Ruby Davies (wlio appears as principal boy Robin Hood), Mr. Dan Thomas (as the Dame), Messrs. Ed. Stanley, Bert Barton, Bert Le Wane, Billy Watson, Elsie Sloane, Lola Hunt, Holly Leslie, and others. Tho specialities will include Josephine Gassman and her pienninnies, Marcel and Fallon (America's fox-trot exponents), the New York Comedy Four, Hanloii, Dean, and Hanlon (liand-balancors), and many others, including acrobats, animal impersonators, etc. The box plan for the season is at the Bristol Piano Depot. There will be matinees on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons at 2 o'clock, at. which c-hildriSn will be admitted to ali parts (oxcepl. gallery) at half-price. Owing to the length of the entertainment the performance will start punctually at 7.45 p.m.
