LACK OF VIVID NARRATIVES London, April 16. ihe "Times," in a leader on FieldMarshal Sir John French's dispatch, says :—"The publio_ regret that they arc deprived of the vivid and picturesque which, in other wars, fired the imagination and enlightened the judgment. If the Government want people to put the whole of their strength into this life and death struggle they must bring homo the realities to them.
