NEWS PROM GERMANY (Rec. 18, 5,5 p.m.) 1 London, April 17. A _ Berlin official message says the British at Ypres are using shells emitting asphyxiating gases. We stormed a group of French fortifications at Perthes after extensive mining operations. • A French airship dropped twelve bombs at Strassburg. Two civilians were wounded. Some damage was done by the German airmen who bombed Greenwich, near London.
