HUMANE SOCIETY AWARDS
(By Teleerash.—Prsra Association.) Chrlstohurch, 'April 18. The Court of Directors of the Royal Human© Society met to-day. The following awards were granted: —In the casG of A. Woodward (45), for rescuing Cissy Freeman (9) from drowning at Sumner on February 3, 1915, bronze medal. Case of A. Jackson, for rescuing Mr. Muirhead from drowning at Lyttelton on. November 5, 1913, no recommendation. Levi Lot Winter (22) for rescuing Alico and Albert Hillbert from drowning near Gisborna on January 1, 1915, silver medal. Eric W. Moroweathor (30), for rescuing Ella Rutherford (24) and attempting to rescue Gwendoline Whiteford (13) from drowning at Wanganui River oh January 1, 1915, silver medal. Andrew Price (13), Frank Brydon. (12), and Haydon Cheeseman (10), for rescuing Lee Tibbott (11) from drowning at the Selwyn. River on January 29, 1915, letter of commendation. Leslie Henry Browne (20), for rescuing Arthur Burnside (24) from drowning at Cones Bay, Auckland, on January 6, 1915, letter of commendation. Andrew Robertson (29) for attempting to rescue Florence A. V. Mailer (17) from drowning at Napier on February 28, 1915, bronze medal.
