The secretary of the Ross Goldficlds Reconstructed, Ltd., has received the following report from the mine superintendent on tho work at the mine for the week ending April 9:—The sinking pumps havo been removed to the surface, the permanent pump motors replaced underground, and we find that it is possible to haul and sluice at intervals with the power available beyond that required for pumpng. Tho drives are being cleaned up and tho various faccs will be resumed with one shift on Monday. At Kanieri Forks tho water-race tunnel has advanced 33 feet, leaving another chain to go to complete the deviation.
