Sir,—The closing paragraph of your "Notes of the Day" in this morning's paper suggests that the Women Teachers' Association has a grievance against the Department. Such is- far from beinc the case. It is true that we have made formal application to be registered, and have received no official reply; but we know that the changes now being made in the educational world have made so many demands on the Registrar that he has not yet had time to consider the matter. —I am, etc., ..
