BLOODSTOCK SALES. (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Rec. April 14, 9.45 p.m.) Sydney, April .14. At tns'bloodstock salet> to-day business was slow and .prices fair. Mr. Baldock purchased the Sydney Cup winner, Scotch Artillery, for 575 guineas. The horse will probably be sent to India. Several lots of English thoroughbreds tetched prices ivliich ranged from ISO to 450 guineas, Mr. J. Hawkins, of New Zealand, paying the latter figure for the stallion Maucavis. Mr. Scully 6ecured The Scribe for 600 guineas. Amongst the racehorses, First Principle brought 725 guineas, Aminta 300 guineas, and' Lingano 280 guineas. Secret Service was sold for 500 guineas. Nominations for the Autumn Meeting ■. 1,, Marlborough Racing Club close with Mr. L. Griffiths, secretary, Blenheim, to-morrow.
