COOL AND RESOURCEFUL (Rcc. April 15, 0.10 a.m.) | Sydney, April 11. Tlio papers arc publishing a threecolumn letter from Captain Bean (the Australian official war correspondent), giving an interesting account of the part one hundred New Zealanders from the Nelson section took iu repelling the Turks on the Suez Canal on February 2. He mentions tliat one of the New Zealanders was fatally shot. The troops near the New Zealanders suffered more severely, which was probably due to the former's natural ability in picking cover. Tho British officers commented on the coolness of the Now Zealanders.
