SCULLING
HANNAN'S CHALLENGE TO WEBB. (By Telegraph.—Press Wanganui, April 13. Previous negotiations having fallen through, Hannan has issued another challenge to Webb for a match for £200 a-side and the sculling championship-of New Zealand, and lodged a deposit of £100, suggesting that the race be rowed on June 3. Webb's backers have covered the deposit, but intimate that Webb cannot row before September.
