RUGBY FOOTBALL. REFEREES' ASSOCIATION. At the annual meeting of the ■Wellington Referees' Association the follow, ing offioers were elected: —President, Mr. G. 0. Fache; vice-presidents, Messrs. Alex. Campbell and \V. Perry; chairman, Mr. E. Wylie; vice-chair-man, Mr, W. J. Meredith; management committee, Messrs. A. C. Kitto, R. Fordyce, ana E. W. Smyrk; secretary, Mr. T. H. Jones i vice-president to New Zealand Referees' Association, Mr. L. Simpson; member of appointment board, Mr. E. \Vylte. The following players have been chosen to go into training for the Petone Football Club's senior team: —Joe Ryan, E. Ryan, W. M'Ewan, S. Bolton, W. TJdy, James Ryan, H. Nunn, W. Ready, A. Parker, H. Parrant, W. Ryan, T. Dent, T. Price, R. Lindsay, H. Tancred, J. Corsou, .H. Anslow, A. Miller, H. Hagen.
