A Tace was flown from Waipukurau during the week-end under the auspices of the Hutt Valley Homing Pigeon Society. The results were:—Miss L. Booth's "Texas," time ohrs. 9min. 47 sec.; velocity, 693.11yd5. per minute, 1. Mr. 0. Whitehead's "Reliance," time ohrs. lOmin. 22sec.; velocity, 692.71yd5. per minute, 2. Messrs. Booth Bros.' "Night Hawk," time shrs. lOmin. 5 sec.; velocity, 692.45yd5. per minute, 3. The time allowance added to "Night Hawk's" flight placed her third. The next race is from N:ipier.
