A very pleasant evening. was spent at the Sailors Friend Sooiety last night, \yhon an enjoyable programme was presented by Miss Muriel Betty, ably assisted by the Misses M'Keon, Stewart, Loftman, Hugo, and Fontanue, and Messrs, W. J. Jl'Keon, Travers, Shearer, Brown, and Tuiwie. Mr. Moore, tho missioner, occupied the chair, and announced the quarterly sale of work for early in. Hay. During tlio evening a very interesting competition was hold, and the vote of thanks wn.s responded to b.y Miss Muriel Betty.
