24,770 WORKERS IN AUSTRALIA, (Reo. April 7, 10.50 p.m.) Bydnay, April 7. The official industrial returns show t"hat 24,770 workers left various trades and callings to take up military employment. Including people engaged in clerical and professional work who have enlisted, the return 'states that tie unemployed total is estimated at five thousand.
