Cummings (Westport Garrison), 66 marks, lj H. Glover (Nelson Regimental), 64 marks, 2; T. Allantyne (Wellington Tramways), 63 marks, 3. Fivo competitors. B Flat Cornet Polo —H. Osborne (Timaru Regimental), 93 marks, 1; Kerr (Westport Garrison), 90 marks, 2; S. Williams (Woolston), 88 marks, 3. Seventeon competitors. Champion Cornet Solo —H. Fox (Christelnirch),!; H. Osborne (Timaru), 2; A. J. Barryman (Palmerston North), 3. , B Grade Contest (Test Selection)— City Band (Napier), 173 marks, 1; C.Y.C. (Christcluii'cli), 166 marks, 2. To-morrow evening the second portion or A. Grade contest test selection (Wagner) will bo taken, and the judge's award.will be announced.
