MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Mr._W : G. lliddell, S.M., presided at the Magistrate's Court yesterday. For insobriety, Francis Flynn was fined £1, Michael Allen £2, and Charles Collins £1. Hart Langdon, who, while under the influence of liquor, used obscene language in Courtenay Place, and' resisted the police constable who arrested him ivas fined £4. ' For having broken the public peace, Patrick Riley and James Hennessey were fined £1 each. What a constable described as a stand-up fight in Customhouse Quay resulted in Stephen William Kempton being fined £2, and John Harrison £1. The thefts of a pair of boots belonging to Michael Tracy and a shirt belonging to the Union _ Clothing Company were alleged against John Coyle. Coyle pleaded not guilty, and he was remanded till Friday. Walter Marslen. who admitted thit while intoxicated he had committed an indecent act in Buckle Street, was fined £2.
An attempt to rob Thomas Dick was charged against Michael Mylrea, who was remanded till Friday.
